The Coffeesmiths Collective is a network of quality coffee shops in London. We also run Coffee School and sell coffee-making equipment in our shops and online.
US & COFFEE
Many of us know and appreciate the characteristics of quality coffee. We like its smooth, rich taste, the ritual of visiting our favourite coffee shop, the rejuvenation of mind and the social interaction that is at the heart of a quality espresso experience. Coffee inherently has an international focus that draws on a multitude of cultural, social and national traditions. However, we believe that good coffee shops have – and always will – serve their patrons by embodying the local.
COFFEE IN LONDON
Coffee is, in fact, a decidedly British tradition. Trading futures in The City all started in the local coffee houses of the Square Mile. Not convinced? Need more proof? Twining’s, now famous for its range of teas, started life as a coffee shop in Central London in 1717. Over the years, the British coffee house has been the home of intellectuals and pamphleteering in the 17th and 18th centuries, working class actions throughout the 19th century and, more recently, social revolutionaries in the 1950s and 1960s.

The Coffeesmiths Collective serves distinctive, quality coffees to London’s discerning coffee drinkers in a friendly and social environment. We want to create coffee shops that are meeting points for friends, family and colleagues to gather, to converse and to socialise – and enjoy the goodness of quality coffee. We want to be renowned for the mastery of our craft and our focus on people.
