It’s our experience that art has the ability to enrich our daily lives
CALL OUT FOR 2012/13 EXHIBITION PROPOSALS
We’re now planning our autumn / winter exhibition programme. If you’re a professional artist in the early stage of your career and would like to propose an exhibition of your work email your CV and a PDF of your current portfolio to art<at>coffeesmiths.co.uk.
Coffeesmiths Art exhibits professional artists in the early stage of their careers and seeks to present them to the broadest possible audience. Artists are selected on the quality of their existing body of work and our assessment of them to become established professional artists. Our displays are either curated from existing bodies of works or, in selected cases, present new works for the first time. Artworks are designed to add vibrancy to the life of the coffee shop and to the lives of those who purchase them.
NOW SHOWING
Gretchen Jacobsen’s whimsical illustrations imbue endemic New Zealand birds with the stuff of legends and fairy tales. ‘Tales of the Faether’ by Gretchen Jacobsen, opens 3 May 2012 at the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs.
ART UPDATES
Keep up-to-date with our exhibition programme by signing up to our Art Updates for news on art events and forthcoming shows.
